Funeral services for Mr. Henry Boyles, 85, of Rt. 2, Forest, was held on Wednesday afternoon March 22nd, at 2:00 from the Homewood Baptist Church, with Rev. Arlis E. Smith, Rev. George Skelton, and Rev. Sam Waggoner officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Boyles passed away in the East Mississippi Hospital in Meridian on March 21.
He was a lifetime resident of Scott County, a member and deacon of the Homewood Baptist Church, and a retired farmer.
The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Zylphte Webber of Marietta, Georgia; three sons, Belton Boyles and J. C Boyles, both of Route 2, Forest; and George Earl Boyles of Route 3, Magee, 14 grand children;14 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Bertha Wall of Epps, La.; and 1 brother, Chester Boyles of Jackson.
Pallbearers were the grandsons.
