Mrs. Anna V. Abbick, 85, of 200 South Mill in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away June 17th at St. Margaret Hospital. She was born in Czechoslovakia and had lived in Kansas City for 64 years. Mrs. Abbick was a charter member of St. Cyril Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Union, the Catholic Slovak Ladies Union and the League of Night Adoration at Home.

She was survived by two sons, Charles Abbick of 16 South Tremont and the Rev. John F. Abbick, S.J., Marquette University in Milwaukee; four daughters, Sister Mary Philomena of Danville, Pennsylvania, Sister Rose Mary, S.S.C.M. of Gary Indiana; Mrs. Veronica Ann Deck of West Hartford, Connecticut, and Mrs. Josephine Troupe of the home; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday evening at the Butler Chapel in Kansas City, Kansas, where Rosaries were said later that night. Services were held on Wednesday morning at the chapel, followed by the Funeral Mass was at St. Cyril's Catholic Church. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
