Age 64 years
Paul M. Flynn, of 116 Lovers Ln., Kersey, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Penn Highlands Elk after a brief illness. He was born a son of the late John Edward and Vera Ginther Flynn.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1972. Paul earned his masonry degree from Triangle Tech and was a former employee of Marlowe Mining Company and Quality Components.
Paul was a member of the BPO Elks Club in Ridgway for 40 years. He was also a member of the Kersey Eagles and the PFL.
Paul was a good person; a man of few words who was loved by his family and friends. He was kind to everyone and made us laugh.
Paul is survived by a sister, Patricia Smith of Montgomery County, Maryland; a brother, Eugene Flynn and his wife Cynthia of Kersey; his nephew, John "Jack" Flynn, who was always there for Paul, along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a niece, Trish Smith.
Burial: St. Boniface Cemetery.
