North Turner – Douglas I. Mason, 74, a resident of North Turner, passed away Wednesday morning, April 11th at his home, following a brief illness, with his son by his side. He was born July 4, 1943 in Turner, the son of Carroll Mason and Bernice (Lee) Mason. He attended school in Turner.

On July 7, 1967, he married Roberta Gordon, they enjoyed 47 years of marriage before her passing in 2014.

Doug worked for Department of Transportation retiring after 30 years of service. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, fishing, and going to auctions.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Mason and his wife Jill of Livermore, his grandson, Liam Mason, brothers, Phil Mason and his wife Diane of Turner and John Mason of Leeds, sisters, Marceline Walton of Turner, Lois Keene of Turner and Diane Mason of Buckfield.
