FINAL RITES HELD FEB. 16TH FOR CLAUDINE HUDSPETH

Services for Claudine 'Dean' Mille Hudspeth, 69 of Brownwood, Texas, were at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 1999 at Heartland Funeral Home in Early with the Rev. Rueben Packer and the Rev. Art Allen officiating. Burial was in the Clear Creek Cemetery, located West of Brownwood, Texas. Mrs. Hudspeth died Sunday, February 14, 1999 in the Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She had suffered with an inoperable brain tumor since October of 1998. She was born January 8, 1930, to Abe and Dovie Jackson Miller in Donley County Texas.

On November 15, 1946, she married Rayford H. 'Ray' Hudspeth in Morton, Texas. She and her husband and four sons moved to Brown County in 1963. Dean was employed by Swift and Company in Brownwood for numerous years as well as being a terrific homemaker and mother. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Brownwood. She and her husband celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in Goldthwaite at her oldest son's house on November 15, 1996.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Hudspeth of Brownwood; four sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Carol Hudspeth of Goldthwaite; Tommy and Terry Hudspeth of Eula, Rex and Jarene Hudspeth of Brownwood, and Woody and Karen Hudspeth of Blanket; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Al and Joann Miller of Hawley, and Tommy and Charlene Miller of Monahans; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Rosie and Ed McFarland of Hawley, Anne and Lynn Gray of McCamey, Myrtle 'Myrtie' Schoolcraft of Wickett and Ruth Swanner of Crane; 11 grandchildren, Teresa and Melvin Fleming of Goldthwaite, Brandy Hudspeth of Brownwood, Travis Hudspeth of Eula, Josh and Jennifer Hudspeth of Mullin, Trent Hudspeth of Eula, Jennifer Hudspeth of Brownwood, James
Hudspeth of Blanket, Kari Hudspeth of Blanket, and Leesa Hudspeth of Brownwood; and one great granddaughter, Shyan Fleming of Goldthwaite.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abe and Dovie Miller and one brother, Kenneth 'Jack' Miller.
Pallbearers were Travis Hudspeth, Josh Hudspeth, Trent Hudspeth, James Hudspeth, Melvin and Stewart Dickerson.
