She was born Aug. 22, 1905 in Hale, the daughter of John D. and Elzan Hubbard Auwarter. Miss Auwarter was a lifelong resident of Hale. She was a member of the Hale Baptist Church and the Hurricane Hustlers Club.
Survivors include a sister, Nina Good of Hale, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1994 at the Lindley Funeral Home in Hale. Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery in rural Hale." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, November 28, 1994
