She was a native of Addis and a resident of Brusly. Lois was a retired employee from the former Gulf States Utilities Company. She started as a meter maid and ended her 39 year career as a Sr. Accountant.
Visiting will be on Thursday, April 12th, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brusly from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by Rev. Matthew Lorrain. Burial will follow in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton Rouge.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lois Milazzo DeBenedetto and Rodney DeBenedetto of Brusly; two grandchildren, Nicholas Paul DeBenedetto and Regina Lee DeBenedetto, both of Addis; two great grandchildren, Coltin Fabre and Emma Grace DeBenedetto; brother, Alvin LeJeune of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Lorraine Yelverton of Lake Charles and Lucille Bouquet and husband Hewitt of Addis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by first husband, Thomas Milazzo, her second husband, L.O. Holden; her parents, Arthur and Leila Bergeron LeJeune; four brothers, Arthur Jr., Edward, Lynn and Landess LeJeune; two sisters, Lila Lee Laurent and Milda Aillet Marchand.
