Lafayette: Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lafayette for Mr. Louis Preston Griffin who departed this life on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery following the funeral.
Louis Preston Griffin was born on April 19, 1941 in Carencro, LA and had been a resident of Lafayette for 45 years. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He retired from JB Mouton and Sons after 38 years of employment.
Mr. Griffin leaves to mourn yet cherish his memories one son; Daniel Griffin of Lafayette, three daughters; Jennifer Griffin (Henry Fox) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Veronica Brooks (Chris) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Angelia Dean (Elliot Sr.) of Milton, Florida, two sisters; Mary Alice Taylor of Lafayette LA., and Rosemary Mouton of Rayne LA.
Louis is now enjoying his heavenly reunion with love ones who preceded him in death, his wife; Ivory E. Griffin, his mother; Lillian Griffin, his father; George Griffin and his brother Roy Griffin.
