Phyllis Ann Price, age 68, of Rogersville, left this world for her home in heaven at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Randall and June Horner Price. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rogersville and the Maud Howe Sunday school class. She was also a member of Hasson Chapter #179 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Price; daughter, Gina Craig; and granddaughter, Hannah Craig. She did not have a grandson, but had been blessed to have a special substitute, Brodie Adams. Phyllis is also survived by her brothers, B. Randall "Buddy" Price and wife, Ann, and I. Rodney Price and wife, Monica; sisters, Margaret Sells and husband, Jim, Pam Elkins and husband, Larry, and Carolyn Byrd and husband, Jerry; nephews, John Randall Elkins, Matthew Elkins and wife, Mary Ellen, James Sells and wife, Carla, and Wesley Price and wife, Angie; nieces, Leigh McNeil and husband, Mark, Melanie Winegar and husband, Jamie, and Rebecca Byrd; several great nieces and nephews; very special friends, Joyce Simon and Eula Heaton.
The visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home. Hasson Chapter #179 O.E. S. will conduct Eastern Star services at 8 p.m. with the funeral services following in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Andy Willis and the Rev. Jim Lindsay officiating. Interment will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, at McKinney Cemetery. Services will be held jointly by Colboch-Price Funeral Home and Christian Sells Funeral Home.
