When he retired, he and his second wife first moved to Hawaii. Then they decided that they would tour the world to find a place to live out the rest of their lives. They found Cuernavaca, Mexico. They loved it there. Carl died there and he was buried there. It is about 1 1/2 hours south of Mexico City.
