He likely lies buried in an unmarked grave in the Marsh Family plot in East Bloomfield Cemetery.

Edward Marsh and Hannah Sage were the parents of six children, all born in East Bloomfield, Ontario County, New York.

1. James E. Marsh, b. 10 May 1824.

2. Charles H. Marsh, b. 13 October 1825.

3. Mary E. Marsh, b. 14 December 1833.

4. Alvah Nathaniel Marsh, b. 16 September 1835.

5. Asa Marsh, b. about 1838, died young.

6. Ellen P. Marsh, b. 9 February 1841.

NOTE: Although not reported in Marsh genealogy. Giving several thousand descendants of John Marsh of Hartford, Ct. 1636-1895. by Dwight Whitney Marsh (1895), the 1840 census entry for this family suggests an additional daughter born about 1830.

NOTE: The name of Edward Marsh was remembered incorrectly as "James Marsh" by the informant for the death certificate of his daughter, Ellen P. (Marsh) Cogsdill.
