Mrs. Hawkins, 67, died after a sudden illness Tuesday, April 15, 1997 at her residence in the Vesta Community where she lived since 1964.
She was a native of Livingston in Overton County. Mrs. Hawkins was affiliated with the Baptist Church. She was retired from G. E. of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Hawkins was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George A. Hawkins, Sr. and her daughter Evelyn Hawkins Brewington
Visitation with the family of Mrs. Hawkins will be from 11 a. m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 1997 and from 9 a. m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18 at Nave Funeral Home.
The Rev. Danny Sellars will officiate and burial will be at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include her three sons, George A. (Brenda) Hawkins, Jr. and Randall Dewayne (Janie) Hawkins of Lebanon and Ray Gordon (Renee) Hawkins of Pamplico, S. C.; daughter, Kathy (Billy) Wyatt of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Debbie Zidank, Scotty, Brian, Jeffery, Misty and Jeremy Hawkins; six great grandchildren, Justin, Colton, Dylan, Trystan, Bethany and Alex Hawkins; brother, Robert L. (Betty) Hawkins of Springfield, Ohio.
