Carl Ray Meadows, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away April 5, 2018.
He was born July 17, 1937 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was a master mechanic, forklift mechanic for Baldor, he built trucks, done some racing, and there wasn’t anything he could not build. He built the first car hauler in the area.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Audry (Pierson) Meadows, four brothers; Otis Stephens, Charles, Ed and Darrell Meadows and one sister Claudia Adams.
He is survived by his wife Avis Meadows of the home, one son Gary Ray Meadows (Angie) of Van Buren, four daughters; Sheryl Woods (Rick) of Fort Smith, Tammy Stilwell (Donny) of Fort Smith, Jolene Greb (David) of Fort Smith, and Annita Thomas (Stephen) of Fort Smith, six grandchildren; David Ray Greb, Jennifer Meadows, Michele Gibson, Bobby Ray Woods, Stephanie Thomas, and Cassandra Thomas, and three great-grandchildren; Dakota Gibson, Cayshawn Bray and Ava Marie Thomas.
Cremation under direction of Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, Fort Smith.
