Terry J. Peters, 62, of Stronach died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at UPMC Montefiore.

He was born June 14, 1955 in Clearfield, a son of Neldon and Jane (Wisor) Peters of Mineral Springs.

He retired from the railroad after more than 30 years of employment. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially coon hunting with his dogs, and turkey hunting.

He also liked to paint and cook. He was a member of the Banner Ridge Church, Mahaffey.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Autumn (McCracken) Peters of Stronach; three children, Bridget Hammond and her husband, Mason, Jason Peters and Jesse Peters, all of Bedford; four grandchildren, Amanda Miller and her husband, Ryan, Micah Peters, Jacob Peters and Jared Hammond; two great-grandchildren, Aurora and Aidric; and three sisters, Carrie Lynn Peters of Clearfield, Shelly Flango and her husband, Tony of Houtzdale and Kelly Graham and her husband, Rodney of Egypt. He was also loved by all of his extended family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Peters and his maternal grandparents, Allen and Esther Wisor.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville. Burial will follow in the Friends Cemetery, Grampian.

Friends will be received from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 208 Oak St., Harrisburg, PA 17104
