Abe Alex died Wednesday, Dec. 2, and was eulogized in services Sunday in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Meridian Hills Mortuary.
Mr. Alex , 74, had owned and operated the State Liquor Store at 2502 N. Delaware St., for 15 years, retiring in 1977.
He was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and past master of Monument Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Bernadette M. Treadway Alex; daughters, Andrea McMahon and Toby Presnal; and sisters, Sara Shaw and Pearl Borinstein and a granddaughter.
