Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Gladys P. Collins, 92, who passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Gladys was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Murray and Genevieve Blanchard Pichoff on June 3, 1925. She became a resident of Breaux Bridge, LA in 2001. Gladys enjoyed gardening, card-playing, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving spouse of 50 years, Felton G. Collins; children, Lynda Commagere Wirt, Darlene Heitmeier Richard and spouse Steve, and Randall Scott Nemeth and spouse Monique; grandchildren, Lisa Katherine Commagere, Lori Commagere Kinchen and spouse Brian, Tara Lynn Wirt, Erik C. Heitmeier, Amy Heitmeier Hebert and spouse Brent, Brandon Heitmeier and spouse April, Randall S. Nemeth, Jr., Michael-Todd Nemeth, and Hayley E.
