John Kirk Willett, 60 year-old resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away on April 1, 2018 at his home. Born November 16, 1957 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, he was the son of Marion Lee Willett and Jessie Mary (Ussry) Willett. John was a longtime truck driver. He loved fishing; camping; all kinds of hunting; OU football; and was a great cook, cooking for many AA and NA activities. Survivors include his wife Laura of the home; one son, Tyler Willett of the home; 2 grandchildren, Gavyn Willett of Edmond, OK; and Anthony Willett; 2 sisters, Ginger Mullins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Marion Harris of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church, NE 10th and Choctaw Road in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, Oklahoma.
