Glenda Ruth Eggleston, 63, of 5507 Figsboro Road Martinsville, VA passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 5, 1954 to Ruth Brodie Eggleston and the late James Thomas Eggleston.
Ms. Eggleston was a member of Chatham Heights Christian Church and attended Edwards Adult Daycare. She retired after twenty-five years of service at the Marc Workshop.
In addition to her mother of Stuart, VA, she is survived by her sister, Teresa Eggleston of the home; brothers, Terry J. Eggleston and wife Lisa of Brandenburg, Kentucky, and David Eggleston of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by her nieces, Adrianne Martin, Jessica Branch, Ashley Compton; nephew, Robert Eggleston; great niece, Kailey Martin; great nephews, Shawn Doyle, Keaton Martin and Travis Eggleston.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Minister Dean Ashby officiating. Visitation will held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 and other times at the residence. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park.
