Mark Randall Henderson, 57, of Newberry, SC passed away on March 29, 2018.

Born in Spartanburg, SC on November 29, 1960, and was a son of the late Winfred H. and Mae Clary Henderson.

Mark was a special young man who always had a smile and a hug. He was loved greatly by his family and friends and everyone he knew. He, in turn, gave back that love twofold. He was an avid Clemson Tiger fan and loved all sports. He loved to dance at family weddings and special events. He medaled several years in Special Olympics in swimming and bowling.

Attended Boiling Springs First Baptist Church until 1994 and Holy Communion Lutheran Church from 1994-2008 before moving to Newberry.

Survivors include his sisters, Martha Taylor of Spartanburg and Pam (Tommy) Arrington of Prosperity, SC; brothers, Harold (Mary) Henderson of Conway, AR, and Jack (Kathy) Henderson of Spartanburg, along with several nieces and nephews that were a joyful part of his life.

Predeceased by a sister, Sandra (Doug) Parris and a brother-in-law, Robert Taylor.

Visitation was held Monday, April 2, 2018 from 11:00 to 12:00 noon at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.

Funeral services followed at 12:00 p.m. in the Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Hensley.

Interment was private.
