Our cherished wife, mom, mommom, and friend, Betty Ann Frazier Fischer passed away surrounded by the endless love of her family on Monday, April 24, 2017.

Life: She was born in Petersburg, VA, on November 16, 1948, to William and Winifred "Rosemary" Frazier.
Betty was a lifelong resident of the Cecil County area and a graduate of Elkton High School in 1966.
She spent many years working as the office manager for Dr. Hsu before going to work for the Cecil County Health Department, from which she retired in 2011.
Betty will be remembered by friends and family as the gentle, kind and loving person that she was. All who knew her witnessed the enormous love and devotion she had for her family. Betty was married to her loving husband, Eddie, and would have celebrated their 50th anniversary on May 22.
They especially enjoyed decorating for and celebrating the holidays with friends and family. It wasn't a Christmas party without the trays of her wonderful cookies, treats and fudge.
To her two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Ronnie, and Brenda and Mark, she was a devoted mom and set a wonderful example of how to be a selfless parent.
Betty received great joy from being mommom to her five grandchildren, Joseph, Makenzie, Nicole, Dorian and Connor.
Along with poppop, she enjoyed making every holiday extra special, even inventing a few for them. Betty loved baking with them, enjoyed attending their school and sporting events, and simply spending time and playing with them. She rode more than her fair share of roller coasters and was up for any adventure, from hiking mountains to snow tubing to white river rafting, when they were involved.
Betty also enjoyed baking, sewing, reading, traveling to any place that was warm, and spending time with friends.

Family: Betty is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edward Fischer;
daughters, Angela Young (Ronnie), and Brenda Hendron (Mark); five grandchildren, Joseph, Makenzie and Dorian Hendron, and Nicole and Connor Young; brother, Robert Frazier (Veronika); sisters-in-law, Betty Lane, Nancy Caldwell (Bill), and Mary Rea (Joe); and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, William Frazier and James Frazier.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD.
Interment will be in Oblate Sisters Cemetery at Mt. Aviat, Childs, MD.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 27, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales, 399 Childs Road, Childs, MD 21916.
