Darrell Ray Boyer of Desloge, formerly of Texas was born on May 9, 1939, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a son of the late Ernest R. Boyer and the late Belva L. (Black) Boyer.
Darrell entered eternal rest on Monday, May 22, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his family having reached the age of seventy eight years and thirteen days.
Survivors include his children, Delbert Ray (Pamela) Boyer; Dana Garrett; siblings, Wanda (Sam) Cole, Bonnie Herald, Patricia (Paul) Oder, Judi Sumpter, Wayne (Nancy) Stegall, Layne (Alice) Stegall, Linda Howell and Dudley (Jo) Stegall; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews; special caregiver and friend, Rachelle Beck and furry friend, Buddy.
In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Shores) Boyer; brothers, Delbert Boyer, Dennis Boyer, Roy Stegall, Michael Stegall and brother-in-law, Homer Herald.
Private services will be held at a later date.
