Actor/Producer. Character actor Greg Antonacci was born and grew up in Hell's Kitchen section of Manhattan, New York. Known as a jack of all trades Renaissance man, Antonacci was prolific in the entertainment business, who wrote and composed the music (1975 Broadway play, "Dance With Me"), acted, directed, and produced for television. In Hollywood, he began his career as performer, comic supporting roles on TV, making his small screen debut on the TV sitcom "Laverne & Shirley" in 1976, and soon after earning casting as a regular in the ill-fated "Busting Loose" in 1977, where he did double-duty on the sitcom's writing staff. This later led to writing, directing and producing episodes on TV's "It's a Living" in its second season.

Antonacci's breakthrough came on TV's "Brothers", where he both wrote and directed dozens of episodes, from 1984 to 1987. By the 1990s, he was producing the new sitcom "The Royal Family" starring Redd Foxx, until Foxx's sudden death on set during its first season. He then went on to direct the third season of the sitcom "Herman's Head", in 1994. By the later 1990s and 2000s, he focused on his acting talents, gaining popularity in stereotypical Italian-American gangsters and thugs on screen, like on TV's "Sopranos" and "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO.

In his personal life, in 1978 Antonacci was married very briefly to actress Annie Potts, divorcing a year later. But by 1981 married former actress Lynda Costanzo, and remained married until his death in the Fall of 2017. He is survived by his wife Lynda, and his three children. Memorial services were held September 23, 2017 at Massapequa's James Funeral Home, with private cremation which followed.
