According to a Whitworth Genealogy of Irma Comer, 2009: he was the son of Abraham Whitworth, Jr. (son of Abraham Whitworth, Sr.) and Martha Montgomery Whitworth. I think that he was born between 1765-1784 and died about 1822. His will seemed to indicate that he had two sisters; executors were John Shaw, William Anderson, and Samuel Witherspoon; will says wife is Mary. Isaac married Mary Magdeline DuBose in 1803, and they had a son, Isaac DuBose Whitworth in 1804. He is next thought to have married Mary Montgomery McKnight.
