Stephanie R. Cox, 33, of Lafayette died on February 19, 2006 at 2:10 A.M. at her residence. She was born in Lafayette on March 23, 1972 and was a life long resident.
She was a graduate of Harrison High School in 1990 and was a 4 year letterman in Cross Country, Basketball, & Track. She attended St Joseph College in Rennssalaer, IN and Purdue University for 1 year each. She attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
She was employed by Lafayette Bank & Trust for 11 years and was in charge of the obits vault and was a teller. She was very involved in the community through Lafayette Bank & Trust serving on the committee for Relay for Life and March of Dimes for many years.
She was also involved in 4-H in Tippecanoe County with Horse & Pony. She enjoyed playing Softball, Bowling and spending time with her daughter and family. She also was an Avid Nascar Fan.
She is survived by a daughter Chelsea and by her parents Donald W. & Laura A. (Horn) Cox of Lafayette and a sister Tisa (Husband Randy) Fultz of Lafayette. Also Surviving is a niece & nephew Seaira and Dakota Fultz and 23 aunts & uncles and 85 cousins.
Preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents Raymond C. & Clara B. Cox and Maternal grandparents Wilty & Ruby Horn.
