Mrs. Hoelscher died Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at a Temple nursing home.
She was born May 17, 1926, in Westphalia to Albert and Josephine Witcher Holtman.
She lived in Westphalia all of her life. She graduated from Lott High School.
She married Ray J. Hoelscher on June 18, 1947.
She worked at the Western Fair in Lott. She was a member of the Church of the Visitation, where she was a member of the Altar Society and taught religious education for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and two sons, John Hoelscher and Glen Hoelscher.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Hoelscher of Temple, Donnie Hoelscher of Westphalia, Wayne Hoelscher of Temple and Randy Hoelscher of Little River-Academy; four daughters, Barbara O’Gorman of Little Elm, Kay Rabroker of Westphalia, Bernadette Gerngross of Rosebud and Loretta Hoelscher of Fort Worth; a brother, Elmer Holtman of Burnet; three sisters, Joyce Greger of Westphalia, Betty Ann Kleypas of Temple, and Evelyn Hoelscher of Waco; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
