Marjorie L. Marty Vance, 93, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018.
She was born September 11, 1924 in Halls, Missouri to Moses and Florida (Crouch) Crockett.
Marty married Robert Edward Vance August 26, 1944. He preceded her in death July 7, 1996.
She was a member of Huffman Memorial United Methodist Church for over 55 years. Marty worked at E & M Dress Shoppe and volunteered for over 30 years at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Kevin G. Vance; parents; siblings, James Crockett, Varley Crockett, Iva Bunten, Alpha Madden, Hazel Duty, Davy Crockett, Walter Crockett, Mildred Dyer, Helen Farris, Landon Crockett, Ruth Jackson, Gayell Crockett, Betty Cotter and Bob Crockett.
Survivors include daughter, Sandra Knox; grandchildren, Kara Eaton (Tom), Kollin Knox (Laura); great-grandchildren, Jacob Hansen, Malleigh Eaton, Kenedy and Kaelyn Knox.
