Gertrude P. Neubauer, 86, Fargo passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Sanford Health, Fargo.

She was born September 11, 1931 in Fergus Falls, MN, the daughter of Pauline (Lehn) and Albert Mandelke. She grew up in Fergus Falls and attended school there. She continued to live in Fergus Falls. She married Roy Neubauer on August 7, 1950 in Fergus Falls. They made their home in Fargo where she worked for the Fargo Police Department for 33 years. Roy passed away in 1999.

Gertrude was an avid gardener and loved to work in her numerous flower beds and enjoyed spending time at the lake. She was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Fargo and will be missed by many family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Dale (Cindy) and Allen (Dawn); one daughter, Marlene Christian; five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Edward Mandelke, Joseph Mandelke, sisters, Emily Earle, Regina Hanson, Dorothy Neubauer, Elizabeth Brendemuhl, Irene Wyffels and Helen Denbrook and son-in-law, Alan Christian.
