She was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County. She was married to the late D. C. Rouse and was a daughter of the late Ernest K. Roberts and Mary Ida Bagley Roberts.
Mrs. Rouse was a member of Newbern Baptist Church.
The survivors include two daughters, Ida Lynn Sanders (husband Kenneth) of Dawson, Bernice Stewart (husband Robert) of Douglas; two sons, Glynn Rouse (wife Barbara) of Waynesville, Mickey Rouse (wife Linda) of Waresboro; a sister, Dorothy Nell King of Telmore; a brother, Coy Roberts of Odom; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 23, 2002) at Newbern Baptist Church. Burial will be in Telmore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Tuesday night from 7 until 9 o'clock.
