He was a member of Mountain View Old Order Mennonite Church.
Born in Churchtown, he was the son of the late Samuel Martin and Lizzie M. Sauder Nolt.
He was married to Naomi Hursh Gehman for 41 years on Dec. 12.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Harvey G., husband of Ruth Nolt of Millville, Harold G., husband of Lucy Nolt of millmont, and Ivan S. Jr., husband of Jane Nolt of Mifflinburg; three daughters, Florence G. Nolt of Lewisburg and Lydia Ann Nolt and Mark K. Nolt, both of Mifflinburg; and eight grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Ammon S., husband of Hettie Nolt of Spring Grove, and Samuel S., husband of Lena Nolt of Fleetwood; and four sisters, Lydia Ann Hurst of Denver, Esther S. Martin of Thorpe, Wis., Martha S., wife of Aaron Martin of Narvon, and Mary S. Martin of Ephrata.
A brother, Isaac S. and a sister, Elizabeth S, Nolt, preceded him in death.
