Mrs. Ida B. Wable Dies Last Evening

Mrs. Ida Belle Wable, 71, of Churubusco route 1, a resident of Adams county most of her life, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wells county hospital at Bluffton, following an illness of one week.

She was born in Adams county Feb. 28, 1887, a daughter of John and Hannah Head-Durbin, and had lived near Churubusco for the past three years. She was first married in 1904 to Clyde Wolfe, who preceded her in death in 1942. She was married in 1945 to Jasper Wable, who died April 11, 1960.

Mrs. Wable attended the Pleasant Valley Wesleyan church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Lillian) Frye of Churubusco, Mrs. Andrew (Esther) Zehr of New Haven, Mrs. Howard (Ruby) Presdorf of Craigville route 1; one son, Grover Wolfe of Pleasant Mills; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Arthur (Marie) Mitchell and Mrs. Louis (Loretta) Maddox, both of Monroe; four stepsons, Rolla Wable of Geneva, Roy Wable of Decatur route 6, Alton Wable of Monroe route 1, and Forest Wable of Decatur; one sister, Mrs. John Cook of Decatur; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. One son is deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Zwick funeral home, with the Rev. Homer Rich officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today until time of the services. (Fri. July 10, 1964)
