Born in Savannah, she was a daughter of Arthur G. and Rena Lee Cowart. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are her parents of Columbia; daughters, Misses Mickey and Lisa Stevens of Columbia; brothers, A.L. Cowart of Columbia, Charles G. Cowart of Sumter and Wayne L. Cowart of Hopkins; sisters, Miss Diane Roach and Miss Linda R. Cowart; her maternal grandparents, Roy and Myrtle Allen of Savannah; and a grandchild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Ronald LaFlam. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Mixon, Barry Clark, Larry Payne, Jimmy Owens, Ronnie, Mark and Ted Cowart.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
