Edward A. Goodman, age 78, of Ekron, KY formerly of Little Bend, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Signature Health Center.

Edward was born December 4, 1939 in Louisville, KY to the late Eddie Montgomery Goodman and Ada Saphronia Logsdon Goodman.

Edward was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church where both he and his wife Eunice attended. He was also a proud member of the NRA and a Kentucky Colonel. Edward had retired from Standard Gravure where he worked as a pressman and from Hardin Memorial Hospital where he did maintenance. For the last 20 years he raised chickens on his farm in Little Bend for Tyson Foods.

His sister, Doris Taylor and son-in-law, David Dowell preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife Eunice McGlinn Goodman of Ekron, KY formerly of Little Bend; daughters, Mary Dowell of Ekron and Carrie (Mick) English of Battletown; grandchildren, Toni (Kyle) Whelan of Ekron, Kelli (Jacob) Lee of Vine Grove, KY, Wesley Dowell of Wisconsin, Dylan English of Brandenburg, Kayla English of Brandenburg and Barrett Allen Dowell of Payneville and great grandchild Kylie Whelan.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 3 P.M. EDT from the Chapel of Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home with burial to follow in Parr-Frans Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday March 23 from 11A.M. till 3 P.M. EDT at the funeral home.
