Services for Ruth Lawrence, 91, of 2203 Sierra Dr., Rock Springs were conducted in Ogden, Utah.
Cremation was in Ogden.
Mrs. Lawrence died Thursday, Dec. 20 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
She was born in North Gainsville, N.Y. Aug. 7, 1893, the daughter of the late Almon and Hattie Lathrop Gamet.
She attended schools in Gainsville, N.Y. and was a graduate of high school there. She was also a graduate of nursing school. She married Gaskel Lawrence in Perry, N.Y. in 1923 and he preceded her in death in 1972. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and William Edwards of Rock Springs; one brother, George Gamet of Roselle, N.Y.; three grandchildren, David and Catherine of Rock Springs and William of San Francisco, Calif. as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.
