Nettie Collins supported her three children by scrubbing floors in Amberley Village homes. The family moved often, from Over-the-Rhine to Mount Auburn to the West End to Walnut Hills. A praying, church-going woman whose voice rose above all the others in the choir and who did everything for her children.
