Glenn Hunter Cox, age 56, of Phoenixville, PA passed away following a lengthy illness on Sunday, March 11, 2018 in the Phoenixville Villa. Born on December 25, 1961 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late Warren and Mamertus (Lewis) Cox.
Mr. Cox attended the Phoenixville School District. He worked as a concrete finisher for Forcine Concrete until medical issues forced him from work. Mr. Cox played American Legion baseball in his youth, was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and loved country music.
Mr. Cox is survived by one daughter, Danielle L., wife of Ryan Elmy of Phoenixville, PA and Danielle's mother Janice Houser of Phoenixville, PA; two sisters, Linda L., wife of the late Robert Painter of Pottstown, PA and Darlene L. Devaney of Phoenixville, PA; two nieces and two nephews; and one grandchild on the way.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Young. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the First United Methodist Church, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
