Born in Syracuse, she was a 1991 graduate of Fowler High School and attended Onondaga Community College. She formerly worked at Discovery Zone, Liverpool, and Catholic Charities Day Care Center. She moved to Kentucky three years ago and was a teller at the Bank of Louisville.
Survivors: Her parents, Fred and Beth Ann Powers of Syracuse; a sister, Crystal of Syracuse; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Powers of Syracuse; her maternal grandfather, Alfred Castagner of Watertown.
Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Butler-Badman Funeral Home. Burial, Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander
