Lloyd graduated Richmondville High School in 1957 and was very determined to work for General Electric. He started out in designing at All State Designs and achieved his goal of working for General Electric in 1964. He was a devoted employee until he retired as a senior designer in 2000. Then he became a member and participated in the General Electric Quarter Century Club. Lloyd loved sports and was very athletic. He continued playing Volleyball and Basketball after his retirement. He also enjoyed spending time in the woods, chopping wood and repairing items. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Delanson, NY and attended faithfully.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Terrell; his 5 children: Alan Terrell, Sherry Terrell Kent and her husband Michael Kent, Kenneth Terrell, Shannon and his wife Leanne Terrell, and Mary Kay Terrell Parnell and her husband Sidney Parnell; 5 grandchildren; Lucas, Ashley, David, Jason, and Allie Grace; one brother Christopher Terrell and one sister Agnes Terrell. He is predeceased by sisters Ann Melvin and Helen Rudd.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 4:00pm-7:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1735 Alexander Road, Delanson, NY 12053. Burial will be held at Grove Cemetery at a later date next Spring.
