Helen Sophia Rudd, 71, passed away Monday. She was born on July 3, 1942 the daughter of the late Orville LeRoy and Sophia Koker Terrell. Helen was a graduate of Amsterdam Hospital School of Nursing and D'Youville College. She was a nurse and taught at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing for a number of years. Helen was predeceased by her parents; and her sister, Anna (Terrell) Melvin. Survived by her husband, F. William Rudd; son, Timothy Mark (Ginette Azcona) Rudd; stepson, David Scott Rudd; stepdaughter, Carrie Lynn (John) Ryan; grandson, Amari Guillermo Rudd; stepgrandchildren, Lacey Rudd, Justin and Cassidy Ryan; brothers, Christopher Terrell and Lloyd (Carolyn) Terrell; sister, Agnes Terrell and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 9 at 4 p.m. in Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home in Eastwood, with calling hours from 1 to 4 p.m. before the service. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mannsville, NY at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 10.
