Williamstown, July 21 – Miss Elizabeth Bartlett died at an early hour at her home here Sunday. Although in poor health for some time past, the end came unexpectedly, and was a severe shock to her many friends.

Miss Bartlett was the daughter of the John and Mary Bartlett, and was born in Williamstown, December 22d, 1870, and had resided here her entire lifetime, admired and esteemed by all who knew her.

Deceased is survived by four brothers, Charles, with whom she made her home, John J., of Williamstown; William, of Redfield, and Josiah, of Rome, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Golthwait, of Syracuse.

Miss Bartlett attended the M. E. church and her funeral will take place at that church Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. H. Stimpson will officiate and interment will be made at Fairview cemetery.

Williamstown, July 22 .— Miss Lizzie Bartlett passed away at 6:40 Sunday morning at her home in Main Street after a lingering illness from malignant cancers. She was aged 54 years and 6 months. She and her brother were moving into the home on Main Street when their home on Amboy Street, where they had lived so many years, burned. Miss Bartlett was a daughter of the late John and Mary Bartlett, and since the death of their parents the unmarried brother and sister had remained in the old home. The sister. Hannah, passed away a few years ago, leaving the sister and the brother, Charles, alone. He will miss her greatly, and the sympathy of the community goes out to him at this time. She will be missed by many as she had a wide circle of acquaintances. She is survived by one sister. Mrs. Anna Gothwaite of Syracuse, and four brothers. Cyrus Bartlett, Rome, William of Osceola, and John and Charles of this village. The funeral will be held this afternoon (Wednesday) at 2 o'clock from the Methodist Church. The Rev. W. H. Stimson, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will made in Fairview cemetery
