Miss Moran Is Air Cadet's Bride

The wedding of Miss Geraldine Derr Moran, daughter of Mrs. Katherine Moran, 2648 Reel street (sic), to Air Cadet Donald H. Basehore, son of Mr. and Mrs. David H. Basehore, of Palmyra, took place September 18 at the post chapel at Maxwell Field, Ala. Chaplain Gold performed the ceremony. They are residing in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Mrs. Basehore, a former employe (sic) of the Bell Telephone Company, is a graduate of William Penn High School, and attended Marshall College, Huntingdon, W. Va.

Cadet Basehore is a graduate of Palmyra High School, and was employed by the Hershey Chocolate Corporation before he entered the service.

DeBARY, Fla. -- Donald Henry Basehore, 74, of Verona Road, formerly of Big Springs, Texas, and Palmyra, Pa., died Sunday in Hospice Care Center, Port Orange.

He was a retired Trailways bus driver; an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II; a Freemason; and a member of Community United Methodist Church.

He was the widower of Martha Parks Basehore. Surviving are a son, David Bayshore of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Kathy Miller of Washburn, Wis.; a stepdaughter, Diane Zinn of Lawrence, Kan.; two sisters, Ruth Fair of Palmyra and Janette Knoll of Cleveland, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday in Altman-Long Funeral Home.
