Deni was born June 20, 1951, in Bremerton to Ray and Velda Davidson. She passed away Jan. 21, 2015. She was married to Theodore Caple.

Deni grew up in Bremerton, Adak, Alaska and Naples, Italy. She graduated from high school in Naples, in 1969. She was one of the first females to graduate from the PSNS Electroplating Apprentice program. She worked as an electroplater at PSNS, Pearl Harbor and Keyport. Her hobbies included jewelry making, reading and following football.

Deni leaves behind her husband and best friend, Ted Caple. She is preceded in death by her mother, Velda. She is survived by her father, Ray Davidson; her sisters, Vickie Drake and Nancy Giles-Kauth; her nephews, Jeremy Drake and Charlie Giles; her aunt and uncle, Valley and Bill Long; several cousins, Bonnie, Judy, Donna, Jim and Bob, and brothers-in-law Stave and Hank.
