Clara L. Yost, 78, of Rt. 1, Flora,
died at 1:10 p.m. Monday,
December 8, 1980, at St. Elizabeth
Hospital, Lafayette. She had been
in ill health one year.

Born Dec. 29, 1901, in Camden,
she was the daughter of Adam and
Elizabeth Wise Blocher. She was
married Aug. 28, 1926, to Oliver
Yost, who died April 20, 1964.
She was a member of the Flora
Old German Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Gene
Yost of Rt. 1, Flora, and Lowell
Yost of Eaton, Ohio; three
brothers, Floyd Blocher of Rt. 1,
Flora, Paul Blocher of Grass Valley,
Calif., and Joe Blocher of Rt. 1,
Cutler; four sisters, Rose Scholl and
Edna Dutter, both of Flora, Melinda
Brown of Camden and Cordelia
Kuns of Tulsa, Okla.; five grand
children; and five great grandchildren.
A brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Flora Old German
Baptist Church with Home Brethren
officiating. Burial will be in
Musselman Cemetery near Flora.
Friends may call after 4 p.m.
Wednesday at Reinke Funeral
Home, Flora.

The family suggests that
memorial contributions be made to
the Carroll County Cancer Association.
