William Garrett was the Son of John Garrett III and Sarah Elizabeth Garrett He married UNK. Children of William Garrett are: 1. Henry H. Garrett, 2. Samual N. Garrett, 3. Mary Garrett, 4. Hosea Garrett, 5. John Garrett, 6. William Hines Garrett, & 7. Thomas Garrett. William Garrett and two of his brothers Jonathan Garrett and Jesse Garrett are buried on William Garrett's Farm in the Rock Stand area of Chambers County, Al. Jonathan and William both died during a small pox epidemic, they were cared for by a black man whom already had Small Pox, The man buried the bodies on the farm and the family did not view the bodies in fear that they also would come down with the small pox
