He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served our country with pride in the Army brigade and cavalry nearing the end of WWII. He was a very active member of the American Legion of Litchfield, ME. He enjoyed traveling, camping and was a construction manager throughout his career.
He is survived by his wife, of 37 years, Candace; his sons: John Snow Jr.; Russel Snow and his wife Gail; Patrick Caskin and his wife Janet; his stepson Mike and his wife Heather; his daughters: Leslie Piver and her husband Bill; Lori Sheldon and her husband Mike; Monica Snow and her husband Dan; Erica Campbell as well as 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, his sister Ruth Skelton and Niece Carolyn Norman.
Burial and committal services with military honors will take place later in the spring in the Litchfield Plains Cemetery.
