Raymond P Martell Sr

Raymond P Martell Sr, 54, Clearfield RD2, died yesterday at 11:30 pm at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born in LeContes Mills, June 18 1918, he was the son of the late Ferrial J and Florence (Jury) Martell.
Mr Martell is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Jarrett) Martell, five sons, Raymnd P Jr, James E, and John D, all of Erie; Larry T and Frances William, both of Clearfield RD; and nine grandchildren.
Other survivors are these brothers and sisters, Charles Martell, Hugh, Gordon, Mrs Isabelle Leigey, and Mrs Gertrude Kephart, all of Clearfield; and Mrs Annabelle Smith, Mrs Bessie Aughenbaugh, Mrs Margaret Fohner, Fred and Lewis, all of Erie.
Mr Martell was preceded in death by three infant children and one brother.
Funeral services will be held from the Fred B Leavy Funeral Home Saturday at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Gillingham Cemetery, LeContes Mills. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm Friday and until the hour of services Friday.
