Louise Walton, 94, of Paragould, Arkansas, died March 8, 2018, at St. Elizabeth's Retirement Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born April 19, 1923, in Calhoun City, Mississippi and has lived in Paragould for the past 75 years. Ms. Walton was a retired machine operator from Ely and Walker in Paragould. She was a member of Third Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one son, Wayne Walton and daughter-in-law Sharon of Paragould; three daughters, Paulette Monk of Paragould, Janet Whaley and son-in-law Dan of Hernado, Florida, Kay Branch and son-in-law Steve of Paragould; one sister, Edna Sartin of Jackson, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferman and Annie Laura (Chambers) Johnson; two brothers, Ferman Aubrey and Carl Theodore Johnson; two sisters, Naomi Fay Hutsell and Lola Ann Church; and one grandson, Marcus Gene Monk.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Linwood Cemetery with Pastor Dr. Dennis Bradley officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home.

Zach Branch, Jason Branch, Jackson Pegg, Kenny Pegg, and Eric Roberts will be pallbearers.
