Born July 3, 1914, in Redwood Falls, Minn., to William and Mary Garey Humphrey, he married Darlyne C. Faichney on Nov. 3, 1935, in Chicago. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Larry of Peoria and Mike of Hedgesville, W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Greg (Carol) Garner of Peoria; and two sisters, Lillian Mummert of Joliet and Hazel Hasty of Mackinaw. He was preceded in death by a son, Leslie C.; and three brothers.
He worked for 38 years at the former Pabst Brewery of Peoria Heights, retiring in 1977. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
