Ellen was a daughter of Thomas Pegum (1802-1858) & Bridget Keane (1815-1855), both died Auckland.
She 1st married George Isherwood (1815-1893, often went by Green-Isherwood) in Auckland 1 April 1858
About George George was born Isherwood in Lancashire in 1815 to Robert Isherwood (1785-1869) & Ann Green (1782-1859). At some time his name became Green-Isherwood. In Sep 1830, at the age of 15, he was arrested for Larceny in Lancashire. He was tried, convicted and transported to Tasmania as a convict on the ship 'Coromandel' 25 June 1838. His Ticket of Leave was ordered 11 Aug 1843. He 1st married Johanna Scantlon (1823-1873, also a convict, arrived on the Waverley) in St Joseph's Church, Hobart on 4 May 1846
* 2 years after George left - Johanna, the wife of George Isherwood, free by servitude, charged in Sep 1851 for burglary & Oct 1851 with feloniously receiving.
She asked for permission to marry George Nash 14 Nov 1854 & married him on 26 June 1855 at Campbell Town, under her maiden name, stating she was a widow. She died 20 Oct 1873 in Westbury, Tasmania, aged 50, of bronchitis.

George arrived in NZ from Hobart on the 'Esperanza' in 1849. He married Ellen in Auckland 1 April 1858 He died in Auckland, 13 Oct 1893 as above.

Rudolph was born in Christchurch 28 Sep 1864, a son of Christian Frederick Kretschmar (1830-1906) from Hanover & Johanna Sophia Dorothea Potesta (1836-1917) from Sachsen, Germany.

* Rudolph next married Jane Butler (1876-1956) in 1900
.. Jane next married Edwin James Harmer (1876-1951) in 1910. She married Thomas Pollock Alston (1878-1947) in 1923.
* Rudolph partnered Henrietta Sophia Easton (formerly Shee 1862-1945) & had a son Keith Shee (1903-1984 +Hibburt). Henrietta had married Chong Ah Shee (1843-) from Canton in 1879 & had 5 children.
* Rudolph next married Sarah Jane Wanstall (nee Rodick 1864-1935) in 1906. Rudolph & Sarah then moved to NSW later that year. He died in Marrickville on 21 Dec 1921 under the name Philip Cretchmar. Sarah died 31 July 1935 aged 71. They are buried together plot 3 0428 Anglican at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland Shire, NSW

The police have been notified of a fatal accident at Stratford, the circumstance surrounding which are of a distressing character. A middle-aged lady named Mrs Kretschmar was the unfortunate victim and the accident was the result of a horse colliding with her. The particulars, since supplements by a press telegram, are to the effect that the animal took fright at the Salvation Army congregation and just as the rider had quietened it a dog rushed out and the horse became fractious. Before the boy could get it under control it collided with Mrs Kretschmar. When picked up the poor woman was unconscious and despite all that could be done by medical aid she never recovered, passing away half-an-hour after the dad occurrence.
