Earl Edward Lee, 99, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Little Rock, AR, was born December 2, 1918, to Louie and Grace Lee, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was a graduate of Dunbar High School and Dunbar Junior College. He was a proud member of the 10th Calvary Buffalo Soldiers during the World War II theatre. He later retired from the United States Postal Service.

He was married to Croteal Hamilton Lee for 56 years, who preceded him in death, and to this union two children were born, Earl Edward Lee, Jr. and Earlinda Lee Hope and Earl Lee Jr., preceded his father in death. He is survived by a daughter, Earlinda Hope (Greg); grandson, Joel Allen (Sonya); granddaughter, Koren Allen-McDonald (Ron); and three great-grandsons. He was a faithful member of Wesley United Methodist Church for over 70 years.

There will be a family hour, Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. (501) 372-1305. The funeral service will be Thursday, March 8, 2018, 10 a.m. at Wesley Chapel Church. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 12 noon.
