Mrs. Margaret Faye Spivey, age 76, of Vidalia, died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin, after an extended illness. She was a native of the Kibbee Community in Montgomery County and lived most of her life in Vidalia. She was a homemaker and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Humphrey and Queen Blaxton Humphrey; and one brother, William Humphrey.
Mrs. Spivey is survived by three children, Wanda Duncan and husband Jim of Lyons, Susan Curl and husband Phillip of Swainsboro, and Jonathan Osborne and wife Tamara of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Sabra Lamb of Vidalia and Bobbie Jean Powell and husband Henry of Uvalda; six grandchildren, Tim Duncan, Timothy Durling, Dustin Osborne, Erica Madison, Derrick Lawler, and Jessica Osborne; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 9th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Elemer Caraway officiating. Burial will follow in Blockers Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
